Editorial policy

SupportRoadmap publishes practical learning material for customer-facing software and SaaS support. This policy explains how we source, review, and correct that material.

Source selection

We prefer first-party technical documentation from vendors and standards bodies when describing how a tool or protocol behaves. Secondary explainers are acceptable for orientation, but they do not replace primary sources for volatile product behaviour.

Review and update dates

Docs and Help pages show published and last-reviewed dates. “Last updated” appears only when the substance of the page changes. We do not bump dates for cosmetic edits.

Volatile vendor information

Helpdesk metrics, DevTools UI labels, and SaaS admin flows change. Where behaviour is vendor-specific, we say so and point to the vendor’s docs. Readers should verify critical steps in the product they actually use.

AI-assisted drafting

AI tools may assist with research organisation and drafting. Human verification is required before publication for factual claims, product behaviour, and safety guidance (including HAR handling). AI output is not published unchecked.

Corrections

If you find an error, contact us via the contact form. Material corrections update the page content and review date.

Commercial and affiliate disclosures

SupportRoadmap does not currently run affiliate programmes or paid product placements on Docs, Guides, or roadmaps. Insights remain independent editorial. If that changes, disclosures will appear on the relevant pages.
